Bloom (Kosher) and Son Ltd., Whitechapel, London E1, U.K., better known as Bloom's. It was famous for its salt beef meals and its persuasive waiters; ".. some more chicken soup, some more latkes?" Bloom's <A HREF="http://www.olamgadol.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Blooms%20last%20orders.jpg">ceased trading</A> early in 1996 after nearly 45 years in business. Only a short distance from its former site is the <A HREF="http://www.whitechapelbellfoundry.co.uk/">Whitechapel Bell Foundry</A> where America's Liberty Bell was first cast.
