The Beit Yosef

The Beit Yosef is an encyclopædic compilation of Jewish law written by Rabbi Yosef Caro (1488-1575 CE) who also wrote the Shulchan Aruch. The Beit Yosef was based upon The Tur which was written by Rabbi Jacob ben Asher.
